Minutes of the 56th Annual Gathering, held in St. Albans, England, September 4th thru 6th, 2009

Held at the Quality Hotel, St. Albans, England. The Host Lodge was Romeland, Herts No.7080.

 

Friday, 4 September — Registration and reception.

 

Saturday, 5 September — The General Business Meeting convened at 09:40AM.  International Chairman R.W. Bro. John Clyburn welcomed everyone.

R.W. Bro. Ian Nichols delivered the invocation. The Minutes from our last Gathering in 2008 were adopted.  Floral Park has taken the year 2016 to Host the 63rd Annual Gathering!

TREASURER’S REPORT: On hand $1,723.56. Treasurer received $300 from registration.  New balance will be $2,023.56, USD.

R.W. Bro. Ian Nichols gave the closing prayer.  Meeting adjourned at 10:15AM.

Lodge opened at 11:00 am, closed 1:35 pm.  The 3rd Degree was conferred.  Luncheon at the Temple.  Our Ladies toured Waddesdon Manor and were treated to a luncheon.  Dinner Banquet was held at the Hotel, 79 present.

 

Sunday, 6 September — After Sunday breakfast held at the Hotel, guests were treated to services at the Cathedral, when our Chairman R.W. Bro. John Clyburn presented a check in the amount of £800.  W. Bro. Russell Combs from Philadelphia also presented a lithographic rendering of St. Alban.
